Motorcoach Tours
Please read the following
information carefully.
Reservations & Deposits
Early reservations are essential, as
space is limited. A deposit (see amount
below) per person is required within 7
days of making your reservation.
Travel insurance must be taken at time
of booking. Final payment is due 45 days
prior to departure. Some tours have
special requirements. Please check the
tour itinerary if these are to apply.
Tour value of: 0 to 500$: 200$ p/p 1001$
to 1500$: 500$ p/p
501$ to 1000$: 350$ p/p 1501$ and +:
750$ p/p
All rates are in CAD funds, including
taxes and based on current exchange
rates at time of printing. Any
changes in exchange rates, fuel
surcharge and taxes increases might
bring a change to our rate without
notice.
For your convenience we can accept your
deposit by VISA or MASTERCARD over the
phone at the time of booking. Cheques
sent through the mail should be made
payable to Voyages Lacroix Tours.
To avoid the risk of loss of deposits
and payments due to emergencies or
unforeseen circumstances, we advise that
you purchase Cancellation Insurance.

Tour
Director
Most tours are accompanied by an
experienced tour director who will
assist in any way possible insuring you
the finest tour ever. Some tours are
operated by driver/local host only.
Schedules
The tour itinerary, departure times,
pick-up times and location, baggage tags
and hotel lists will be sent
approximately 10 days prior to departure.
Please read information very carefully
before departure.
It is the passenger’s responsibility to
arrive at the location of departure.
There is no reimbursement from the
agency or the Insurance Company if you
miss your trip due to poor weather
condition or for any reason or other,
you are not present for departure.
Luggage
Limit of one large suitcase per person
to be carried under the coach and one
small tote bag per person as hand
luggage is allowed. All personal
belongings that you take with you on
your vacation, are your own
responsibility. Please consult us for
our luggage insurance. Additional
baggage will incur an additional fee of
$4 per night per bag. Luggage tag is
enclosed and we ask to have it attached
safely on your big suitcase. The number
is for the office usage only. Please
have all other tags (on your suitcase)
thrown away.
Admissions,
Side Trips, and Meals
Voyages Lacroix Tours includes the cost
of side trips, guided tours etc., unless
otherwise noted as optional. Meals are
not included unless specified in the
itinerary. Unused tour features are not
refundable.
Identification
Passengers should insure that they have
proper identification for a border
crossing. Passengers travelling to other
destinations and citizens of other
countries may require additional
identification. It is the passenger’s
responsibility to have the proper
documentation. Failure to have the
proper documents is not covered by
cancellation insurance.
Responsability
Voyages Lacroix Tours acts solely as
organizer of the tours outlined in their
brochure and is responsible for making
all reservations and charting the route
as outlined, but it is understood
between the tour organizer and the
passengers that Lacroix Tours or its
agents are not accountable for:
(a) Any inconvenience, upset, distress,
whether physical or mental, however
caused except where caused directly by
the tour operator
(b) Any delays, loss or injury to
persons or property or for mechanical
failure however caused or for
substitution of hotels beyond the
control of the tour operator, or for any
additional expenses incurred
(c) Unless through the direct fault of
the tour organizer, any additional costs
incurred or any ancillary loss sustained
as a result of cancellations or delays
of tours caused by inclement weather
conditions, acts of God, or any other
events, which result in one or more
persons being unable to continue or
complete the tour.
The tour organizer reserves the right to
make any changes before or during the
tour for the comfort and enjoyment of
the passengers, and it is agreed that
any increase in cost due to changes
should be paid by the passengers. All
tour itineraries are subject to change
or cancellation without prior notice
except as provided by law. Lacroix Tours
has no responsibilities beyond a refund
of all, or some monies paid by the
passenger, which is deemed to constitute
full settlement.
The tour organizer reserves the right to
decline any person as a member of the
tour at any time before or during the
tour should such person’s presence by
considered detrimental to the interest,
comfort and enjoyment of the other tour
members. Persons leaving the tour during
operation will not receive a refund of
unused services.
By booking a tour or making a deposit,
you agree to the above terms and
conditions.
Seating on coach
Motorcoach seating may not be reserved
for any reason, with the exception of
the seat directly behind the driver,
which will be occupied by the tour
director. In fairness to all, there will
be a regulation rotation of seats as
directed by the tour director. A
rotation system is used whereby
passengers will change seats twice a day
so that all will enjoy a variety of
views. This rule will definitely apply
to all. Regular stops will be made
approximately every 3 hours for coffee
or lunch.
Medical & Cancellation Insurance
To avoid loss of deposits and payments,
we strongly recommend that you purchase
Medical and Cancellation Insurance in
order to protect yourself against
cancellation charges due to sickness or
death in the immediate family before OR
during your tour.
In the event that you must return home
during the tour, all transportation
costs will be the passenger’s
responsibility and complete details of
coverage and exclusions are available
from your agent.
If you don't have cancellation &
medical Insurance, you don't get your
money back. No exceptions will be made
to these cancellation rules.
Refund Policy: If you
find it necessary to cancel your
reservation, the following cancellation
penalties will apply:
·60 days and more prior to departure:
full refund of amount paid except 50% of
deposit.
·45-60 days prior to departure - the
penalty: 100% of deposit.
·45 days and less before departure - the
penalty: No Refund
·Show tours: no refunds on show tickets
Tipping
Tipping has become a very standard
practice in today’s society. Tipping has
been prepaid for any included meals and
for the bellman for 1 piece of luggage
per person on your behalf by Lacroix
Tours. As well, tipping to your Bus
Driver and Guides as been included.
